I actually almost like that different people pronounce names differently: Tarkin says "Lee-ah" where Luke says "Lay-ah", Obi-Wan says "Tattoo-in" where Luke says "Tah-tooine", Lando says "Hehn" where Leia says "Hahn" and Han says "Hun". Similarly to people having different accents, it makes the thing more believable. If everyone speaks the same way it can sound too artificial.

Absolutely, but the problem is that Luke has never pronounced Tatooine that way up to that point and never pronounces it that way again. Like you said, he says "Tah-tooine" not "Tah-dooine" Maybe it's just my ears, but it sounds way different. different enough that I thought he must be reffering to a similarly named planet like Dantooine.

...However if you were referring to the way Lando says Han, then I've got no quarrel with you good sir or mam. That's fine like wine.

I think Dantooine might be pronounced differently in the same way, but I might be wrong.  There might be an instance of the the same actor using different pronunciations of the same name.  I quite like having different ways of saying the same word though. :-)
