I wasn't born in Chicago either. I was born in upstate New York. And I've lived in Kentucky and Connecticut. I'm only a Cubs fan because of my wife's family. I was once a diehard Yankees fan. But I'm sick and tired of them and the fact that everyone would call me a fair weather fan despite me being a Yanks fan since 1985 (hardly fair weather). I was a freak for Don Mattingly. The guy was a God in my book. It's just not the same anymore. For the last several years, I've been rooting for the Cubs and Twins. I also dig on the Red Sox.

I'm pulling for a Cubs/Bosox World Series this year.
