I assume you mean XviD. In which case, I would:

Rip the DVD with DVD Fab 7;
Use pgcdemux to pull out the video and audio streams;
Use ImagoMPEG muxer to mux video and audio;
Load the muxed mpg into AutoGK and choose preferred settings. Let it do the rest.
