The creature with the death sentence in 12 systems is the character formerly known as Walrus Man and his new SE-friendly name is Ponda Baba. From ANH in the Mos Eisley Cantina scene, of course.

What is the name of the character who relays to Luke that Ponda Baba has the death sentence in 12 systems?
"You fell victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous of which is 'Never get involved in a land war in Asia'."

His name was Dr. Evazan, but I thought Evazan was the one who had the death sentence on 12 systems?

Oh well, here's a new question: What are the tentacles on Twi'leks called?
Author
Time
I have no idea about the tentacles. And, now that you mention it, you may be right about Evazan saying it about himself. I'm suddenly having trouble remembering who said what now. Dammitalltohell.

Okay, we need to set a rule here. One question at a time. The next question cannot be posted until the person who asked the current question has confirmed the correct answer. Then the person who correctly answered can post the next question. How's that sound? May take some time between questions, but at least we know which is the current question.

I can agree with that.

good, now that the "rules" have been set and only three people agree on them and noone disagrees, the motion is carried unanimously.

ill start off, very easy.

Q: At the end of the rolling text that we see in the beginning of A New Hope (the yellow text...), how many "dots" finish that text off?
"The ability to speak does not make you intelligent."

Hey. Y'all are allready braking your newly establised rules. Nobody answered the question about the tentacles on a Twi'lek's head.

They are called "head tails."

i'll probably break this democratically selected rule and i'll be getting off-topic but:
I read somewhere that Harrison Ford's performance in ROTJ was "phoned-in", but I have absolutely no clue what this expression means, can someone explain it to me please?

i've wanted to know that for a long time but i didn't think that it was enough to start a whole new thread, so i'm sorry if I hijacked this.

tha answer for the dots question: 4? (three for the suspension, and another one as full stop?)
"Last night, Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't take Lorraine out that he'd melt my brain."

Time
Phoned-in means that Ford was really only doing ROTJ out of obligation or for the money; simply put, that his heart was not really in it. Given how Ford has compared the roles of Indiana Jones and Han Solo when talking to the press, this makes sense.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.
