Carrying on from my response to Dave's vid having Zam turn out to be a Terminator style Separatist android would be kind of interesting.

Her face could melt off revealing the workings underneath or she could explosively self destruct.

Hey all. Just wanted to let you know that I just uploaded a 'radical' video up on YouTube.

Yep...I finally got off my butt, and made a new video with my finally fixed computer.

Let's just say it involves AOTC's club scene, and half-naked girls.

LOL the music is in Russian, not an alien language. XD

It is odd how these pixelated guys and gals move with greater purpose than their on set PT cousins.

The trailers for these games often feel more like the PT I had in my head before TPM than the final product did (minus the Matrix style moves and the OTT Force useage).

Like an Austin Powers fembot? :P

Too be honest, I don't think robots like that fit in Star Wars. Based on the other kinds of droids we see, the technology doesn't seem advanced enough.

I do like the idea proposed on the previous page that a war is already going on during TPM. That way the reason for the blockade of Naboo can be changed and may give the situation more urgency. Maybe the planet is now under siege or something and the Trade Federation want to use the planet as a staging area and to build droid factories.

If the technology for C3PO and Luke's bionic hand exist such androids must exist.

See what I did there?

They can't all be winners, folks.

Trouble is, Zam flees the Jedi. What good is an assassin android if it has a sense of self-preservation?

If I were programming an assassin droid, I'd make it have concern for nothing except the mission.

If she is of Separatist design it may make good sense for her to not want to be caught.

If she's very expensive her owner may want their property to come back in one piece.

You could even have other characters as androids (some of them could be walking bombs).

In Shadows Of The Empire, Prince Xizor has a cyborg name Guri (who is also an assassin).  So, it is established, at least in the EU, that such technology exists to create droids who look human.

Can we have time travel capsules and T-800s trying to kill padme?

Or maybe captain typhoo is a terminator that infiltrate to her security and he will try to kill her...

Wasnt a terminator general in one of the EU comixes that fought with vader?

Thats why anakin has almost the same haircut with Kyle reese..

lol wtf and lmao at the same time

The technology is there, agreed, but we never see droids like that in the rest of the saga, while there are certainly parts where they might have come in handy. Personally, I don't think Terminator-like droids "fit" in Star Wars, it feels against the entire romantic concept of the saga.

Yeah, I'm familiar with Guri, but the movies should be the movies. The EU is an entirely different universe, one where Luke has sex with a ghost, half the Jedi Order seems to have survived survived their extermination, Palpatine has a cycloptic son and where apparently is some kind of superweapons-r-us where Kevin J. Anderson likes to shop for plots.

And what's wrong with Zam being just a human being? I agree that the shape shifter concept should be dropped because it's pointless, but why make her a droid? It doesn't really add anything.

I'm aware of Lobot's rather daft EU back story but I was assumed he was an android going by his behavior.

I know this has been talked about before, its Vader's costume in ROTS.

In TPM we see a naked early version of 3PO.

In AOTC we see a shiny version of Boba's costume and the origins of the Stormtroopers. 3PO has evolved to a bit closer to his shiny self.

In ROTS the troopers have moved closer still to the Imperial Stormies of the OT. Vader appears at the end of the film in a fully developed costume (even more perfect than the OT costume - George was particularly proud of the new symmetrical mask).

Its a shame Vaders costume wasn't cobbled together, just to keep him alive more like Tony Stark's escape costume, or like McQuarries concept art.

Vader doesn't have much screen time at the end of the movie........if it could be reshot......?

Another thing, why does he have to be black, the PT previous versions seem to be a bit more daring and colourful (like the troopers), why couldn't Vader have coloured patterns (like Maul, perhaps)

^This makes me think that Vader is supporting breast cancer research just like baseball players with pink bats...

It would have been interesting for Anakin to craft his own survival suit from whatever parts he could find, carving out a helmet and face mask from a droid like a CZ-3 or one of what ever the Death Star Droid is.

If memory serves the head of that droid was originally a Vader concept mask that was recycled?

I kinda thought that's where they were heading, since Episode I and II both inform us that Anakin is great at building/fixing mechanical objects.

The idea of using the old McQuarrie design for the PT would have been awesome ! (If Vader would have appeared in the 2nd film...)

Taking ideas from Ironman and Grievous we can have as an easter egg/shot showing multiple suits and helmets behind vader's transformation. so we can have some tribute to the artists and show other aspects of cyborg technology. In fact it can work in a real shot if not easter one ;)
