Well, I just obtained a copy on dvd (not from anybody here) and am watching it now.

It had the sorcerer Mickey home video logo and then went straight to the movie. The dvd is NTSC or else it wouldn't play on my television. So far there have been no subtitles. Picture quality is pretty sharp and clean, audio is very good but the video does look a little washed out and muted in color.

Based on what I've read from others so far, it sounds like my disc is a straight transfer from the Hong Kong laserdisc. Does anybody know the side changes on the disc so I could easily check if there's a clean transition on my copy?
