I just heard that Ken Griffey, Jr. announced his retirement a few hours before this incident. So, what should have been the biggest story was put on the back burner...

Well, Ken had an amazing career. I think he could've been the all-time homerun leader had he not been bothered by injuries so much. He'd be way, way, way up there in other categories, too.

wasn't he caught sleeping on the job, a few weeks ago?

Oh, so you have heard of him :P

14 K in 7 IP, 4 H, 0 BB...sounds like someone you might want to trade for!

He hits too!  And he cures diseases!  And he will cook you dinner, and clean up after!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Warb, I was making a joke - the hype on Strasburg has been so high, they make it sound like he can do anything.  Oh, and did I mention he can fly?

Rip, I've had Stephen Drew just sitting on my bench behind Hanley Ram all year.  Any interest?

Probably 1st or 3rd, which appear to be my weak links.  I haven't looked at your roster yet to see what you have.

Fink, I've been trying to move a guy off of the bench to start, but I can't figure how the program works.   WTFudge!

At the bottom of the page there are two radio buttons for roster edit type

-Drag and drop
-Classic

Which are you using?  Try the other one and see if it makes more sense.  If not, post more information on what happens.

Stoopid.  Only my work computer has the right (flash?) loaded to make it work.  I really need to figure out how to make it work from home.  Stoopid.

The move was easy on the right computer and worked like I thought it should.

Next step: Figuring out how to trade players.

Other next step: Remembering to check the league daily.

Baby steps, there Sluggo, baby steps.

Again, are you using drag and drop or classic?  Try switching and see if that works at home.

You can offer trades several ways.  I find the easiest is to go to the page of the team that you want to trade with.  Click the propose trade button for the player you want under the action column (looks like two blue arrows).  You'll get a new page where you can check box all the players you want, and after you've checked all the players to include, hit continue at the bottom.  Then you'll get check boxes for your players.  Check off who you want to offer, hit continue again, and you'll get one chance to review the trade before you send it.

Then again, it can just be discussed here, either in this thread or thru PM.

I root for that guy because of the problems he had before last year.  I worry that a bad year will send him into depression again, so nice to see him do well even if he's not on my team.

Baseball Jesus (Strasburg) was off today but still got 8 Ks and the W.

Strasburg is fun to watch, I'll admit that.

Anchor had Colby Lewis on the bench (presumably in an attempt to lower his innings pace).

8 IP, 1 W, 2.25 ERA, 0.50 WHIP, 10 K.

He also had Gallardo on the bench, who had another 10 K in only 6 IP (although his other stats weren't so good).
