I can believe there was something beyond coincidence with you and your mom both dreaming of your father's death, not that your dad was in danger and you were being warned, but that you and your mom somehow communicated in your sleep.

Seems like things like this happen to me all the time: I'll for no reason start thinking about someone I haven't seen in a long time, throughout the day thoughts of them will pop up in my mind, and then sometime in the evening the phone will ring and it will be them.

Perhaps I was thinking about them because they were thinking about me. Or perhaps they started thinking about me because I was thinking about them so they decided to give me a call. I don't know, it just seems weird when some one you haven't talked to or thought about in months calls you up out of the blue on that one day you inexplicably started thinking about them.

Also, seems like I often hear people answer the phone with the words, "Hey! I was just thinking about you!"

I am not a strong believer in the supernatural, so I don't think it is anything like that, but I believe that we may have some unknown means of communicating with one another that none of us is fully aware of. This is not some strong belief of mine, I don't have any scientific evidence to support it or explain how it might even be possible. It is just that things like that have happened too often to me, and I have often heard other people admitting to experiencing those kinds of coincidences often enough that it makes me suspect they may not be entirely coincidental.
