I guess the weirdest thing was one night (like TheBoost, no mind-altering substances or fatigue entered into this) a friend and I are out at his place in the country, shooting the shit. Both of us being amateur star-watchers, we're both looking up into a clear dark sky for shooting stars.
One thing catches my eye, and I point it out to my friend.
It looks like any other star in the night sky, with two differences:
1) It's a mint-green color
2) It's moving
Now my friend and I are interested but not alarmed; probably just a satellite, right? Well, this thing comes to a stop. And stays in place for a moment or two...
Then it shoots into another direction, out of sight, in a sudden burst of speed.
Do satellites do that?
