So, I just stumbled across this.  From the NFO:

Editdroid's 3rd version of Star Wars, released 2010.

Sourced from the 2006 DVD, with detail enhancement through Photoshop, burned-in subtitles, apparent grain reduction, anamorphic enhacement, as well the original mono mix plus a custom 5.1 mix done through Pro Tools. Color corrected to more closely match the 1993 Laserdisc (greater mid-range detail, less saturation, slight red shift). Full motion menus. Extras are technical description of capture process. ISO for a dual layered DVD. In my opinion, this is currently the best available version of Star Wars.

Anyone seen this?  Thoughts on it?  Is it better than DarkJedi's GOUT restoration?

I'm particularly intrigued by the 5.1 mix done in ProTools.  I worked with creating 5.1 mixes in ProTools this year in my post-production audio class, and there's a LOT you can do with that program ...
