OK, I always read comments about how horrible the 2004 sound mix is and how it has switched rear channels and stuff but what about the stereo mix included on these DVDs?
Is that the same mix or is it a different one and if it is indeed the same one, why even bother putting it to the DVD, shouldn't a stereo set up just play 5.1 the same way as it does the same mix in stereo?
It would be interesting to know whether there is a difference because the 2004 5.1 mix is weird and all over the place in ANH.
I have a feeling though it is the 5.1 mix converted to Stereo but I don't know whether this still affects direcitonal sounds in Stereo like with the rear channels being messed up in the 5.1.
