I know I said I was going to stay out of this for awhile, but I couldn't help popping back in for a brief comment (was reading some of the old posts). ;)

I know the red tinted AT-AT cockpit controversy is long over, but I am thinking now PERHAPS the reason it was the way it was, could be explained by the windshield "reflecting" the red turbo laser it was firing in the shot? Sort of like how in ANH:R we have craft and turrets "lightning up" briefly with the glow of the shot fired.

Maybe not a perfect explanation, but if that's all it is, I can see why removing it as a "permanent" red screen made the most sense.

I also never answered somebody's question about a post-credits sequence. Looks like that's not happening in this edit but I believe it was the Darth Editious/ADM hybrid edit of ANH that had a sequence after the credits which was basically a reworked version of the Asteroid field hologram scene from ESB. It was a cool idea for that edit, anyhow.

PS: I'm digging the light blue TIEs in the ESB "Theatrical Reconstruction."

MTFBWY (and happy 30th, ESB!)
