I like too how Jacob is essentially the Voice in the Sky from Kung Pow: Enter The Fist. The Voice from the Sky says to the chosen one:

VFTS: At your darkest hour, remember to look to the stars above, chosimba.
CHOSIMBA: Look to the stars above, what does that mean? I mean, that doesn't make any sense, how is that supposed to help me?
VFTS: It won't. But then once you've figured it out on your own, you'll go: "Oh... Stars Above... I get it!"
