You think that's "unlogical", wait until you try to fix the audio! Demux, remux, smash back together. I don't understand any of it, just that it worked. Thanks for including the tools in the download, Ady, saves a lot of time.

I keep meaning to submit a clearer version of the JDownloader FAQ dealy to boon, cuz I find it's a bit needlessly complicated as it is.

I'll look into that ripplin!

Yeah, he said I could do it a while back and I just forgot. I almost feel as if it was written for an older version of the program, because some of the instructions make no sense. (mostly GUI related, which doesn't help for an absolute newbie trying it)

OK, so any help is appreciated. I went to "tehp" and found the links but they're in a box on the thread and the end of the link is cut off so everytime I can't get the whole link so I can't download the file.

I don't know if it's a browser issue or what, but it's really frustrating. A PM with some help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Yeah, please re-write the JDownloader use guide. I can't stand it. I use CryptLoad, which I also hate.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

Thank you Ady for this edition and all of you who helped me find it. It's great looking and a nice kind of preview of ESB:R. Really nice colours and natural feel in this. Cheers!

Just watched it. Fantastic. Adywan went above and beyond to do this.

Ok, I figured it out. It is actually going pretty fast. Faster than torrents that is.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Got no idea what's wrong, but it seems like every other part I get "Waiting for new IP".  Is that something wrong with jdownloader, or my own connection?

sounds like you are a free user and have to wait 15 minutes in-between each file. sit back, relax, your going to be there a while :)

Me too, downloading as we speak. I'd likely have it downloaded already, but we just had a baby 2 days ago so I was slightly preoccupied.

Funny thing is, it didn't do that for the first few files.  I was under the impression that the whole point of jdownloader was to bypass the wait... oh well, I can wait.  Still totally worth it.

It's very fast since it is a new release. If this would have been on the torrents it would take forever because of the amount of people downloading the Adywan name. When I got ANH:R on the torrents there were at least 60 people trying to download it, and that was a while after it was released.

Every once in a while, RS will skip the wait for you.  But jdownloader doesn't skip the wait, it just does the download automatically so you don't have to do it manually.  It's great if you can let it run overnight, but if you're hoping to get the whole thing in a few hours, gotta pay for premium...

Ten minutes in, and I am STUNNED by the clarity of this.  I don't think the official DVDs look this sharp and clear.  Plus, it's bright!  I can actually SEE details now.  Simply said, it is AWESOME!  Thank you, Adywan!  This is a beautiful 30th anniversary gift.

I agree, it's excellent quality.  While I appreciate the efforts of the guys fixing the GOUT, it's a bit like polishing a turd as the GOUT dvds have terrible picture quality.  The picture quality can only be so good.  I'm also astounded at how the theatrical scenes were integrated, you really can't tell the difference in quality.

Ady have you ever thought about standing for Parliament?

Finished watching it. WOW, what an amazing job. your level of craftsmanship is remarkable. Stunning image quality throughout and amazing work all the way around. This is THE best version of ESB I have ever seen. The different sources are integrated completely seamlessly and only twice did I (barely) notice the difference. Absolutely beautiful.

You are a true jedi master Adywan.

Thank you!

And the Carbon Freezing Chamber scenes - ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!  That's how it always should've looked - solid, strong, vibrant, and powerful colors.  Peter Suschitzky, the film's DP, would likely be overjoyed at how marvelously you've put this lighting and cinematography in such striking quality.  Kersh' probably wouldn't be too modest about it, either.
