Same here.
Not much has happened with this in the last few months. As mentioned above, the movie edit is basically complete. All that is left is the authoring of the DVD, but MoveAlong's schedule hasn't allowed him to finish it up yet. I'm very pleased with his movie edit and the new material I've assembled for this DVD, so I hope it will be worth the wait for everybody. Thanks everyone for your interest!
I look forward to the completion of this project with great interest!

Progress update:
Finished up a few last editing details on the main feature. With Galactus' OK, that portion should now be final. Next up is authoring the DVD. I can't honestly say when it will be finished, as I haven't technically started authoring yet. But, I do plan on finishing this project hopefully sometime this year. Thanks for sticking around...
You can go about your business. Move along, move along.
The Story of Star Wars
The Adventures Of Luke Skywalker
thanks for the updates guys. thanks for all your hard work on this one. I really look forward to it.
Same here.
Just a quick update: I received MoveAlong's latest edit of the main feature, and that part is now absolutely 100% complete. The movie itself clocks in at almost exactly 105 minutes. We'll continue to update here as work progresses. Thanks everyone!
Nice length, can't wait until the release. =)
I recently got the game for the Gamecube and from what I've seen the cut scenes are among some of the best I've seen in a Star Wars game (the game seems to be rather fun too and it cost £2).
I'd like to see this when I've finished the game, naturally.
great to hear from you Galactus. Cant wait :)
Tell me, how would you feel about tackling a Force Unleashed movie after this? That is my favorite story by far, but I do love Bounty Hunter and the movie is available for download correct?
EDIT: lol so sorry the Force Unleashed was already mentioned. Got excited, my bad.
1.0 is avaible for download, but not the newer better 2.0 he is working on now. Besides TFU has already 1 release by Daveytod for the Wii version, with another by someone else coming later.
If anything I think that the Clone Wars game or any of the Kyle Katarn games should be tackled :).

Clone Wars game? are you talking about that hideous one coming out for the 360?
No, I meant the one that came out quite a few years ago for Gamecube and Playstation 2.
Any update on this? I'm really looking forward to it!

Thanks for your interest foxbatkllr! Although nothing has happened with this in awhile, this project is *NOT* dead. Things are in the works, and hopefully we'll be able to announce something concerning this project this summer. Stay tuned....
Staying tuned.. :P
It probably looks to the casual observer like this project isn't going to happen, especially since I started this thread in February 2008. However, work is progressing on it, and the original scope of this project has greatly expanded. I don't want to get into any specifics until we're a bit closer to completion, but some pretty exciting things (to me, anyway) are happening with this project! Hopefully fans of this game and those who have been looking forward to this DVD will feel it was worth the long wait when we finally finish it. :)
YAY!
Sweet! =D
SUPERCOOL.
anything new? :)
Check out my Episode I edit.
Sorry for Bad English.
Dude, count me excited!
Sorry for the bump but I am really looking forward to this one.
Is there any known quality difference between the cutscenes in the various versions of this game?
Some ports can be fuzzy where as others benefit from being moved onto a different format, obviously you would want to source from the best.
Thanks everyone for your interest! :)
Bingowings, this game was released on two consoles: the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. I personally spent *many* hours with both. The cut scenes are the same quality on both, but the gameplay is definitely better looking on the GameCube.
The GameCube version had a higher framerate, a higher polygon count, higher resolution textures, and the characters cast shadows.
For the final movie on this DVD, the cinematic cut scenes come from the PlayStation 2, and the in-game engine cut scenes and gameplay footage come from the GameCube. I was able to rip the cinematic cut scenes directly from the PS2 disc, the other footage was recorded from the GameCube through a capture card to my PC.
This. release. will. happen. I just hate to keep posting when I don't have anything specific to say yet. I have spent a ridiculous amount of time working on this, and I've collected a ridiculous amount of material for the Special Features and DVD-ROM. If it has anything to do with "Star Wars: Bounty Hunter," my goal is to preserve it in this collection.
