Ok, I've made the following changes to Danielleosauraus Rex's team:

1) Moved injured OF's Jacoby Ellsbury and Curtis Granderson to the bench and replaced them with Ryan Ludwick and Brade Hawpe.

2) Moved injured SP J.A. Happ to the bench and replaced him with Randy Wells.

3) Moved injured 2B Brian Robers to the DL.  Since DRex has no other 2B on her team, I gave her Alberto Callaspo off the free agent list (he is currently the highest rated player eligible at 2B).

4) Dropped OF Nolan Reimold, who is now in the minors.  Replaced with Jose Bautista, the highest rated player eligible at OF.

I've also contacted two other teams with holes in their lineups.  I'll make changes in a few days for them if I don't hear back.

NOT saying "I told you so," but this is the kind of thing I was thinking of when you were so insistent on having a 10 team league. ;) I'm glad you're on the case, though. This led to problems in my basketball league this year, to the point where the commish had to reverse a bunch of trades and give everyone their original players back, injured or not.

Oh, and my team seems to have taken the day off today. *shaking fist*

Honestly, I wouldn't want to ever be in a league with less than 10 teams, even if it means we have a couple of "dead" teams.  It just leads to way too many good players on the free agent list.

Hope you enjoyed having him back for four days ;-)

I'd just like to point out again that I have plenty of OF and SP depth if someone wants to trade...

Also I'll be making a few more roster moves for people who haven't been doing it themselves.

Well, since I've generally been ignored by people I've contacted, I've made moves for nearly half the league.  It's frustrating, but I suppose this is what happens when you twist arms to get people into a league.  I'd say the odds of a league next year are pretty slim at this rate.  Anyway...

Elbarto's Goat Horde:

C Yadier Molina to empty starting C
SP Ben Sheets to empty starting SP
RP Trevor Hoffman to empty starting RP

danielleosaurus rex:

SP Josh Beckett to DL
Added SP Shaun Marcum to roster and moved to empty starting SP
OF Jacoby Ellsbury (now off DL) back to starting OF, benched OF Brad Hawpe

VFP's Minions:

OF Andre Ethier (injured) to bench, replaced by OF Carlos Quentin
RP Rafael Betancourt to empty starting RP

the murry sparkles:

SS Asdrubal Cabrera (injured) to bench, replaced by SS Ryan Theriot

A couple other notes...

Sluggo, I haven't mentioned it yet, but you have a guy on your bench who is DL-eligible, you could use that spot to add an RP (which has an empty slot all year).

Davnes007 hasn't touched his roster since the first week (nearly two months) but somehow has managed to have everyone healthy.  I doubt that will last.

A couple of you (Anchorhead and Ripplin) are ahead of pace on your games played and/or innings pitched.  Just a reminder to watch the pace, as you stop accumulating stats once you've used all the games and innings.

On the other hand, most of the league is behind in games and innings (no surprise given that I've had to make roster moves for many people).  The easiest way to gain ground in the standings is to make sure you use all the games and innings available to you.

I've already started to reel that in a touch, but thanks for the heads-up.

Gah!  I've got the full-time job and the school at night.  I'm trying to make a little room in my noggin for fantasy baseball, but it just doesn't fit yet.

To be clear, you two are not among those I had previously contacted.

how do I find out if I am ahead or behind in games and innings?

Look at the bottom of your team page.  It will show you how many games you've played at each position as well as total number of innings pitched.  There will also be a + or - number telling you if you are ahead or behind pace.
