Super Mario Bros. with my sister, Pac-Man and Pac-Mania with my dad, Battle Toads with my cousin, Metroid, Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and The Lengend of Zelda by myself on the NES as a kid. Later on the SNES my fondess memories are Donkey Kong Country with my sister, Super Mario World by myself, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past with my friends (we would kind of tag team it, one person would control and the rest of us would brainstorm ideas for getting past the puzzles. When we got to a boss battle we were constantly ripping the controller from each others hands after every death). N64 era was definitely dominated by Goldeneye, and Perfect Dark with my friends, and I also have many fond memories of playing Ocarina of Time in the same manner and with the same friends, only now much older, as I played through A Link to the Past with.
And that is really where my time with consoles ended and I switched to PC. Half-Life and Grim Fandango are probably my fondess video gaming memories from this short time period. They were probably just about the last games I played before retiring from video games for a while. Only picking the habit back up again just a few years ago.
