Because not everyone with spare cash is as cool as us, and there are people who know that market exists.

It's the same reason why people sold the Bonus Disc from the 2004 set separately. Why not keep that, since it was never featured in another set?

But, crazy as it may seem, the predicament you describe would be the same for the Prequel lovers as it would the OT lovers. Or people buy something then realize they need the cash and sell them off. If they knew they could get more money that way, they might try it.

Hey, we can hope, right? ;) I've seen pieces of box sets sold separately before.
