So how much would you pay for it? If it were a new DVD box set, it would probably run $90 (plus tax/shipping). So I'd guess at least $100 (before tax/shipping) for something like this... assuming it's a confirmed "six movie set."

I understand the whole "voting with your wallet" thing, but you could just put a dent in the sales figure and wait six months to pay half price (for just the originals). I can virtually guarantee that the movies will be available either as two trilogies or as individual movies not far in the future after this release. What other movies out there are ONLY ever released as a full series box set? There are actually very few fans who liked all six movies that much to buy them all on the premium format in one shot.

But in the end... your choice, your money, I guess.

Sadly, because we fans always act like each release is our "only chance" and run out to buy it like chumps, we just keep confirming Lucas marketing's belief that we'll buy anything...

I know it's "hard to resist" and not be one of the kids on your block to own it first, but let's face it. We've got Netflix (and that blockbuster home thing) now, so you can "preview" it before you buy, legally.
