Did you finish BioShock before dumping it?  I really liked that game and would be surprised if you didn't find it compelling.

Also, I have to recommend Halo Wars again.  I really dug that game... though I understand it's not for everyone.

Oh yeah I finished Bioshock before dumping it! Remember I mentioned Bioshock 2 as one of my unfinished games. Also, I am the guy who made the thread admitting that I spent my precious time poking needles through a baseball in order to make my very own Bouncer Doll. You don't get that kind of dedication to a game series that you have never even finished the first installment of. I not only finished Bioshock before dumping it, but I have gotten each and every achievement in that game, and I am not that big into the whole silly achievement thing to begin with, I just loved the game that much. Even before I played Bioshock my deep yearning desire to play it was one of the reasons I decided to buy a 360 (that and HL2EP2, which my computer just barely couldn't handle). Even with 100% completion on the achievements, it was still kind of hard to part with. A good friend of mine had never played it, but is big into shooters and owns a 360; so I figured I might as well give her my copy as my gentile way of saying, "Seriously? Time to stop playing silly games like COD and Gears of War and pick up this amazingly awesome game that actually has some substance to it!" Sadly, it now sets among her other unplayed games collecting dust while L4D2 and COD:MW2 monopoloize her 360's optical drive.

...

Or, short answer: Yeah, I beat it before dumping it. It is a good game.

As for Halo Wars... yeah... never really been huge on the RTSs, enjoyed a few of the lighter and faster paced ones well enough over the years (the original Red Alert and earlier C&C games, and even Red Alert 2, and a few random non-C&C titles), but have never been huge on them. Halo Wars, definitely being definable by the term lighter RTS, was/is something I could definitely get into if it were on PC. But playing an RTS on the TV is something that has never appealed to me in concept, and even less appealing to me now that I have tried it.

And wow, that Boomer doll is amusing. I think it is pretty cool they are making a whole line of plush special infected, never something I would buy though. I am looking forward to seeing how the others look.
