My father and I were watching RotLA a little while back.

During the scene with Indy jumping on the U-boat and the sloppy transition to the Nazi base, I asked if he remembered a scene in there with Indy using his whip to lash himself to the periscope and riding to the base that way. He thought he did.

Googling around it sounds like it may have existed... or not?

Both of us had originally seen this film in theaters when it came out, numerous times on HBO and such, VHS, and of course DVD.

So the question is: does this scene exist? Was it ever part of the film? If it's doesn't exist... what movie are we thinking of?!?
