By all means, let's get Robin Hood out of Lincoln green and into some armor.

Looks like another in the growing line of Lord Of The Rings-inspired "epics". Cue the slow motion battles, a scene where the leading man yells just before an attack, the female lead who is entirely too beautiful and too tough for the time period, the muted colors, the stylized battle scenes, and the ready-to-be-quoted sound bites.

I've not seen any of them, but from a trailer perspective; King Arthur, 300, Kingdom Of Heaven, Beowulf, Alexander, Troy, etc - and now Robin Hood - they all look the same.

I'm a fan of some of Russel Crowe's work, so I may watch this when it comes on cable.
