Man, this is just like the Gubbernator promoting the environment but driving a Hummer (which apparently he used to do). See, there's true hypocrisy. There's a difference between hypocrisy and necessity; I think Al Gore lies somewhere inbetween.

Guess it isn't really hypocrisy if people buy into it. Fair enough.

Doesn't Gore actually have one of the highest electrical bills in the US? Or did he fix that after someone called him on it?

supposedly he was using some sort of trading thing.   Someone else saved the electricity he used somehow(it was probably multiple people).   but still I think its hypocritical.

He used to. He might have fixed it, but probably not. Even when that information was released, people defended him on it. It wasn't that big of a deal. That is how it always works. His excuse at the time was that he was fine, because he bought more than enough carbon shares to make up for his usage.

I don't call him on the private jet thing, but his bill is a pretty big "wow" moment.

I never liked George Carlin.   Does Carlin know anything about the environment?  Did he get a degree in a science of any sort?   So how can he say with any degree of certainty that we can't destroy the planet?  How does he know that?    I can't stand it when comedians get political.    They usually don't know what they are talking about, and it shows.   That goes for you too,  Bill Maher!

Could say the same about Al Gore. Hate when politicians decide to pretend to be scientists.
