^ I thought something along the same lines only Shmoo opted to stay on Tatooine after getting freed by the Jedi and brought a farm rather than move to Coruscant and be a distraction to her son but your idea is much better.
It makes the Jedi out to be less of a bunch of crazy child stealing cultists.
