This'd require changing the story a bit in the prequels but, whatever I'm posting it.
Padme's being used as assasin bait in the other room. Obi-wan and, Anakin are talking.
ANAKIN
I haven't been sleeping well lately.
OBI-WAN
Why?
ANAKIN
Every time I sleep lately I get the feeling my Mom's in danger. I remember her being a slave all those years ago and, I wake up.
OBI-WAN
You shouldn't worry about her. Remember we freed her? She's at my fathers place and, she encouraged you to finish your training.
ANAKIN
I know she's supposed to be safe. It's just that, I have a bad feeling about this.
Outside Padme's window the assasin droid is there.

So, yeah just something I thought about while reading this thread. The idea is that Owen's Obi-wan's brother. Anakin follows Obi-wan on the quest to become a jedi at the encouragement of his mom. Good or, bad?
