whoaa....that is very cool news about SW finally hitting Bluray. Jeez, it took them a while to officially announce that anywhere. All other news on the subject was always pretty vague.

look how long it took them just to get it out on normal DVD! God, i looked everywhere for those 'til i found out they'd be coming out in fall of 2007 and DVD's had been out for about three or four years.

I wish a different director would come up and direct some star wars movies. not a add on to the OT or anything. i'm more wishing they'd make a movie out of the republic commando series or the darth bane trilogy. There are plenty of stories that don't require the original cast of either the PT or OT.

A trilogy set in the old republic would be awesome. Maybe even based on the Bioware games.

Is it bad that I'm not even excited about the blurays? I mean, honestly, it will probably be the same crap for the most part. I won't even be surprised if it has the same horrible white balance issues that DVD's had.

The only thing I'm somewhat interested in, is the possibility for new scenes and the new TPM Yoda. That's about it.

To be honest if that's all there is I doubt I would buy it for that small improvement.

Ady, seeing the pics of the Falcon got me wondering about the Fine Molds Falcon you got.  Have you begun assembly of it yet?  I'd love to see some pics of it when it's completed.

i don't even own a blue ray player, so it doesn't do me much good.

if lucasfilm has looked at any of ady's edits, maybe they'll put some of his in the movies.

I just re-watched a clip of Ady's SW:R, and I'd kinda forgotten what a fantastic job he'd done, all those changes & fixes to a film which had loads of imperfections.

ESB:R will surely be a masterpiece, it will be worth the wait, I couldn't see the new blu-ray SE's being attended to with so much care, they will be a let down.

Actually, this might sound kind of weird (and my spelling isn't that great, so it's hard for me to explain), but Adywan has put that little Star Wars Kid back into me again. I used to be a pretty big fan of Star Wars, but then that whole  "Star Wars feeling" faded away. You know that feeling when you want to be a part of that universe and you just can't get enough of it, and everything about it seems great and unique? I don't really know why, but I lost it. And it wasn't because of the Prequels or Special Editions, or stuff like that.

But now, after I saw ANH:R, that feeling is back! I want to be a part of that universe again and I can't wait to see TESB:R (when it's finished of course). It's like watching those movies for the first time AGAIN.

It's fantastic!

I'm also enjoying the anticipation like I used to as well.

When I was a kid three years seemed like forever so waiting between Ady's projects fits into that sensation.

The wait between ROTJ and TPM was a different experience because for a long time George was saying that it wasn't ever going to happen and then a rumor would leak out and die down so when it was finally announced it was a real buzz (and that added to the let down).

After that the wait was more tinged with dread than excitement.

But the gaps between Star Wars>ESB>ROTJ were part of the fun (like leap Christmas).

I'd rather savor the wait for something really good than have something slapped together quickly.

Ady, how about a new weekly still from ESB Revisited to look forward to? There are about 36 weeks left in the year. That would mean close to 30 some stills before the release in Dec. Is 30 some frames from a 2 hour movie too much to give out? It would be a great thing to look forward to once a week. I know we did it before. Just think about it, please.

Seriously?  STOP BEGGING.  You're starting to remind me of my two-year-old.

For the last time, we are not watching Elmo again!

Wow, don't you ever just give it a rest? please. I've released so much more stuff than i ever did with ANH:R yet you keep asking for more all the time. So, ok, here's a new still from the completed section of ESB:R, just for you ;)

that's how i felt with the PT. After i saw the first one, i couldn't wait until the second. after the second though, i wasn't as excited, but was shaking up and down when ROTS finally came out. i had to beg my dad to take me.

And yea, since i was only eight years old when i saw TPM, those three years seemed like freakin' forever.

Ady's kinda given that feeling back just because it seems like its so close to being done, but then there's one more obstacle to get through.

like u said bingo, i'd rather have something really good then have it made in one month.

That's the problem with some people, Ady.  You wow them with something spectacular, and they start to want more from you.

You'd think after all this time Sevb32 would get the hint and stop being so greedy/needy, but he just keeps doing it time and time again. I can't imagine what it's like dealing with him in real life.

That's just shocking. I'm totally gobsmacked.

I ask nicely for something and somehow I'm the evil enemy, or greedy.

I'm guessing it's been months since I've really said much of anything. I did say something about a new still of the progress-of-the edit update (showing how much completed at top, left to do at the bottom) in the last two weeks, but that's it. (And that one was ignored)

When are the Hoth additions filming? No date yet?
