Yeah, I am quite familiar with the word "amartia" (which is not the only word translated "sin" in the Bible), like I said on the last page, I know Koine Greek.
We are definitely in agreement with how ridiculous it is for religious laws to be held against those who do not share those beliefs. That is another reason I don't think the word "sin" ought to be used to refer to secular ideas of right and wrong.
