The government is there to serve the people. Corporations are there to serve their shareholders.

This is by far, the most uninformed statement I've heard in a while. A corporation also must serve the people they cater to or they risk losing business and thereby losing money. Have you ever complained to a business? I'll bet you saw results immediately. The managers wages are directly related to income, therefor they kiss the customers ass. Instead with a government, you have no reliance upon your money because it is forcefully taken in the form of taxes. A bureaucrat has no qualms telling you to get bent because his wages are not directly related to you, so who cares, they'll get paid regardless and they do not worry about their "business" going bankrupt because, hey, they can just tax you more!! Unless you actually think the Post Office, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and Amtrak are being run efficiently, government has proven it cannot effectively or efficiently serve the people.

I suppose I could try to find some sort of heavy object to hit the guy over the head with. Maybe deck the guy. Maybe try to surprise him from behind.

And Thomas Jefferson and I don't always see eye-to-eye either.  Such is life and politics.

remember this?

Sure.  It's another fabulous example of him and me not seeing eye-to-eye.  But the point was this: That's what small Gov't proponents wanted back in the day.

When you say "a little bigger than the conservatives want and a little smaller than the liberals want"  we're already WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY past that point.

do you really think that Government is as big as the extreme liberals want?

Not today's liberals, no.  But the Gov't is bigger today than some of yesterday's liberals ever dreamed it could be.

Liberals will never be happy until it is a total socialist state.  That's why giving them inches, wherever they may be... is just one more step towards their eventual goal.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

I think the Dems ultimate goal is despotism expressed as an oligarchy.

Speaking as someone with no firearms experience which would be the best area to target to prevent this healthcare disaster?

A B or C?

The answer is "c", he is moving rapidly so you want to aim where he will be, not where he was. Also, taking out a leg will not stop him, you need to finish him completely by taking his head off. Of course, you need a decent weapon also which has a sufficient caliber and velocity of bullet.

What sort of heat should I be packing for this situation ferris and what sort of ammo?

I would like to avoid hitting the sister if possible.

Also could improvised melee weapons be useful during this crisis?

*sigh*

What part of "she's a whore" don't you guys understand?  The healthcare disaster that is looming is solely due to her inability to keep her legs crossed.  Just watch the way she walks.  Filthy whore!

(I apologize for my language, but she just makes me so MAD!)

I would use an AR-15 rifle chambered for .223 caliber, put an EOTech L-3 holographic sight on it and you'll be able to pluck his ass pretty cleanly and efficiently, at least the killing part, I can't promise the aftermath would be clean.

but wouldn't you aim for an area a bit below C?   I would think you'd have less chance of missing if you aim for the chest/stomach area rather than the head.

Either one wouldn't be bad. Since it would be a side shot, the potential would be higher that you'd hit a vital organ, but there still that chance you could miss his heart. So, I still say the head, always better to aim for the head. Shots the body also could lead to the bad guy having a few moments to react whereas a head shot is instant. I don't think the body is any better a target than the head.

oh well, I still like the my idea of picking up some sort of heavy object, sneak up behind him, and hit him over the head with it.

If Miss Sakamoto could activate the action replay for a second....

Action Replay Time

This diseased maniac is very fast on his toes.

He is also very stealthy.

Sneaking up on him would hinge on knowing exactly where he was going to strike.

Now in this situation you have a near infinite number of nurses and presumably more than one perp (unless he has some kind of teleport device we don't know about).

Maximum carnage could be achieved if you fitted some kind of bottomless pit in the path of the victim but hooked up to a colour detection device.

The nurses are wearing some white but the red cardigan may be a life saver as it could bleed enough colour onto her uniform not to trigger the detector.

Even near bottomless pits can be very effective as seen in this scientifically accurate crime scene reconstruction:

It's a Trap!

Indeed it did!

There was a full nebuchadnezzar of Cristal Brut 1990 at the bottom of that trap, sadly not a single bottle was saved.

Since changing thread titles seems to be in vogue, I suggest:

I just like the look of it.

In this exclusive documentary archive footage we can see the origin of this healthcare situation.

Here we see Patient X traumatised by a Romanian nobleman entering the ward for a VIP inspection.

Royal Visit

His first reaction is one of panic and flight but have seen earlier this later turns to a classic fight response.

If only someone had placed snipers around the room to take down obscure European aristocrats this whole healthcare crisis could have been avoided.

At first I read "a VFP inspection."
