One minor drawback to fantasy baseball - when it interferes with your real life rooting interest.

I'm a Cub fan. I have Trevor Hoffman on my team. Cubs down 6-3, bottom 8. Of course I'm rooting for the Cubs to score at least 4 and take the lead. There's no way I'm rooting for the score to stay 6-3 so Hoffman can come in and get the save.

But...

...there's this tiny little voice in my head, saying "The Cubs aren't going anywhere this year anyway - root for Hoff!"

SHUT UP, VOICE!!!
