Smartphones

So, what smartphones does everyone use?

I'm going from a dumbphone(?) to my wife's iPhone 3G this week so she can get a Motorola Backflip (as the only things she really uses the iPhone for is Facebook and Google stuff, which is all built into the Backflip).  Then in July I'm going to upgrade the iPhone 3G to a 3Gs or 4G/HD (whatever they end up calling it).  I've had an iPod Touch for a couple years and use it all the time at home, so I look forward to being able to do my stuff from anywhere.

But enough about me, what's everyone else's setup?  Are some of you still using dumbphones?  If so, why?

I too use a dumbphone, because I do not believe in modern technology. I only use it out of necessity. If it were up to me, I'd ride a horse around and grow/raise my own food, not this bullshit slave culture we have built for ourselves where we have to work 40+ hours week for little notes claiming to be of value with no real backing behind them, and all these ridiculous financial obligations we have made for ourselves. I'd rather be reading by sunlight and staying warm by the fire. But, since nobody else thinks that way, there really isn't a choice unless you want to be cut off from the world, which I don't. So yeah, all that to say my dumbphone works for me.

When are we going to playing Xbox Live together, or does that not fit into your "staying warm by the fire" 5 year plan?

I am up for it anytime. I'll even PM you my email address so you can write to request play times when I am not on Live.

You can't even go out for a beer with friends anymore with out these dumb phones getting in the way. I hate them.
