but Rogue planet is EU and therefore has no baring on continuity as it takes place in an alternate dimension and GL pays no attention to it.

As for Tarkin, I'm dissappointed he did not play a larger role in the PT.

He will appear in Ep3 in the final scene, but has no dialogue and is just there as a nod to the fans.
