Android vs. iPhone

I used to have an iPhone and I admit I thought it was the shit when I had it, though it was costing me around $130 a month so I had to quit it(the phone also broke as well). Well I went on my Verizon family plan and got a Droid and am so much more happier with it. I love how open the system is, the fact that I'm not limited to one browser, messaging, or music app. Android allows o much more freedom and customablilty on the users part. One of the best parts is you can pirate right out of the box! Not that I would anyway. Most people would be satisfied with the iPhone, but those of us who want a little more freedom would go with Android.

I guess I've turned into a little bit of an Android fanboy.

What are your thoughts?

What does it cost you per month? I have no doubt these new phones are awesome... it's the value I doubt.

I've actually been looking at getting one of the droids. The only downside I can think of is having everyone I know ask me if I only got it because I am a Star Wars fan.

I would have thought the first thing is that Lucas would earn money off the droid trademark, i would be hesistant to buy one because he won't release the oot in a decent release and i don't want him getting any money.

I believe the average plan is about $109 a month. I really just have to pay for the data plan though.
