sorry DE but i have to disagree there. i scaled the HD to 1024 x 576 originally and when i upscaled the DVD from 720 x 576 to 1024 x 576 when i was doing image detail comparisons & the picture could be overlaid perfectly. It still works the same now i am working @ 1280 x 720. If i had upscaled the DVD to 1050x576 then overlaying it on top of the downscaled HD source would have resulted in the pixels not matching up
