I don't like the Mandalorians either in the series, but the idea was good, how many years been pass since the Old Republic? 2000? In the Jedi civil war they mainly deafeted the mandalorians, then 300 years later the smugglers kicked their ass, it's a bit logical the Mandalorians evolved to a Pacifist nation. For example my country was a Kingdom with Knights etc., but nowdays we live in a Democracy, becouse things changed. Anyways the mandalorians in the series act like some barflys, not like elite warriors.
