Okay, I'm confused.  *scratch head*  As Rule 2 stated, the thread was open.  And as Rule 19 stated, since you hadn't confirmed a topic, it was still open (which it is right now).  Hence, the topic was "anything", so I was on topic.  So... why probation?

The Rulez sez:

19) If a thread is open and you suggest a new topic, the topic is not active until I have changed the thread title to that topic.

It doesn't say I have to confirm a topic, it says I have to change the thread title.  Go back and look at the thread title at the time you made that post.
