Actually ferris, this happened to me years ago in a nightclub. I went there with two friends, one of whom was the DD - me and the other friend were already pretty soused when we got there. Not long after we arrived, the other friend decided to make a complete circuit around the inside of the club, causing a minor commotion as he went along. So naturally we were escorted outside. When the officer had me follow the light, he stopped and reminded me to follow with my eyes. I replied, "But it's hard!" My luck being incredibly good that night, our sober friend knew that cop and convinced him not to do anything to us. We had to leave the club, of course.
Lesson learned. I haven't been drunk in about four years. I can't even remember the last time I had a drink.
wait a minute, why did the cop do a test on you? You weren't behind the wheel of a car. You said you had a DD which I assume stands for designated drive. It was you friend that caused the commotion inside the club. I don't believe there is a law against getting drunk, as long as you don't drive or break other laws. If there is a law against getting drunk, Ferris is going to have to come to my house and arrest me. I've been drunk IN MY HOUSE multiple times(I never gotten anywhere near close to a wheel of any car during any of those situations or got into any fights with anyone or broke any other laws).
