Actually that shot of Yoda was originally taken from where he climbs up on the mound to raise the X-wing but they placed it there instead and flipped the shot and caused the continuity error where he is suddenly in a different place. I've reinstated the shot where it should have been and re-flipped it. I haven't figured out what i will be putting in its place though
As for the falcon needing more of an orange hue, i think you are looking at the 2004 version because in the original whole sequence the falcon had almost no orange hue to it at all and in some shots it had none at all. They tinted everything red in 2004 and it was a mess and i'm not prepared to tint it any more than it is now because it doesn't need it. And the falcon doesn't need to be darker when it passes in front of the sun. Check this clip out:

Now the plane darkens very slightly, but not much as it passes the sun, but if you notice the light from the sun bleeds around the plane giving this illusion. In the clip of the falcon the sun is still behind the clouds and the falcon never passes so that the light bleeds around it, so it wouldn't darken.
