I love the Giacchino version of the TOS theme, but I think its too off from the rest of TMP. Also, the main theme is repeated in TMP, so replacing it at the beginning would make it "re-emerge later" in the same movie! LOL

Maybe in a shortened version, as I doubt we can show 3 minutes of TOS and not have people recognize it. I do like the idea of the prologue coming where the Road Show intro does, before the Paramount logo even...
