For those interested, I've been using Nifty translation for the last few years and it seems consistantly better at translating Japanese text than Babelfish. Sometimes though it pays to use both or have a Japanese friend translate text for you as it is sometimes hard to tell exactly what is going on.

Sorry, it will only work with copied/pasted text, so no good for this situation unfortunately. Just thought it might be useful to someone.
