Finally finished ME2 :D. GREAT Game. My only criticism is that the Loyalty quests make up like 90% of the game. Don't get me wrong, I loved them, but the main quest kind of suffers for it, It's not as compelling as ME1s main quest and lacks a sense of urgency. As for skyJedi's criticism about the lack of hard sci-fi, I don't think that could be farther from the truth. ME2 delves a lot deeper into the lore and fleshes out the different races and their histories. Legion and Mordin's loyalty quests especially delve into some interesting moral dilemmas and sci-fi concepts.

That never came out, right?  Sega had one, but I don't recall one for the SNES...

Then Philips was gonna make one, and we got the CDI. Oh joy.

So I'm playing "Bully"  on my PS2 (I know I'm 5 years behind on technology).

Suddenly my skateboard is accelerating without me pressing any buttons, and the world around me stops rendering, until I'm floating in a grey void. Then the game freezes.

I try again, and this time my character falls through the solid floor and dies. A third time I try, and when I go to the load screen the game freezes agani.

The other games I own for the PS2 seem to work, but the "Bully" disc doesn't seem to be damaged.

Any ideas what woudl cause such madness?

Rampancy?  Has your PS2 become self aware?  They usually impose a strict 4 or 5 year life span on these semi-intelligent machines to prevent this.

I know a Mr. Deckard you can call.  He say you braidrunner.

Sounds like more great glitches from the rockstar people, man how many where there in all the gta games, lol.

Maybe you got a bad disc?

I kid you not, my copy of san adreas on the ps2 was broken by a glitch and won't even load, lol.

Still not as bad as ones i found in mass effect 1 like getting stuck after saving in the elevator and having to start the whole game over, or commander shepperd getting into an elevator on the normandy only to fall through space, lol. Or that glitch with the frame rate, or bad ai on teamates that they supposedly were going to fix in the pc version.

Then there is the glitches i found in fable 2.  Seriously i wonder how the people paid as testers even have jobs. Rush those games out the door nobody will notice until it breaks their game.

There was also the Nintendo 64 DD (disk drive) that never really got off the ground.

This one was actually released, but only in Japan in limited numbers (I think it was through a mail-order service or something). You can find them floating around on eBay sometimes, but they usually sell for several hundred bucks each.

Yes, I've seen them on eBay too. Great for someone that has huge wads of money to blow. :p By 'off the ground', I meant it never really went anywhere.

No, never came out. It was supposed to be a joint project with Sony, but then they changed their mind and released the Sony PlayStation.

Sony didn't change their minds.  Nintendo screwed them over by showing up with their new gf, Phillips, at a con instead.  Well, hell hath no fury like a Sony scorned, so they showed the world by making the PlayStation.

That isn't the story I heard! I seem to recall reading about Nintendo coming home to find Sony on its knees preforming lude acts on two well endowed men of color... or something like that...

Yeah, I realized later I mixed that up, but forgot where I said it. :p

Ooh, I always wanted  one of those!  There have been several times where I've almost bought one but then changed my mind at the last moment.

My friend picked one up for me while he was in Japan. Seems they are insanely cheap over there, and can be found all over the place, at least from what he was telling me. Haven't been able to test it out because I don't have a power adapter for it, so it may not even function, though externally it is in really great shape.

It is kind of cool to have, but wouldn't really be with blowing a small fortune to get one off of ebay.

Mass Effect 2 will only make sense for those who chose Liara in the first game if they read the comic Redemption.  Which is only has 3 issues released out of 4 at the moment.

Probably more novels and dlc to fill in the blanks.

I don't want to read that because I want to know just as little as my Shepard does in game. After ME3 ends I will read the expanded Universe stuff
