he was political incorrect. Organizations like ESPN take a dim view of that. Not saying ESPN was right, but that's how it is.

That was his offense. If he was making fun of a non-ESPN employee, I can almost guarantee he wouldn't have been suspended.
Incidentally, although I didn't see the exact outfit he was talking about, I have thought in the past that she was trying to hard with her outfits to look younger, and she came off a little desperate to me.
