^As much as I enjoyed the movie, it couldn't hold a candle to the BBC series.

Darth Solo already made the illegal alien joke (assuming that's what you were going for), and I'm not really a fan. So from this point on, illegal alien postings will be considered off-topic.
Lol, dammit.
FULL PARDON!!!
I'm not up on my BSG, but isn't he human?
Waiting for answer.....
Born in the distant past on the planet Caprica he is clearly an extraterrestrial.
While I enjoy changing topics to see what comes up next, I'm going to let this one run a little longer than usual. This topic has tentacles...er...legs.

Eh, as much as I DIDN'T enjoy the movie or the BBC TV series, neither one could hold a flashlight to the original BBC Radio 4 plays, or the books, or the computer game, or even the towel for that matter!

Oh I agree with you there. The BBC TV series...well...kind of sucks. But in a good way - I find it very enjoyable. Sure, there was plenty wrong (the casting of Trillian, in particular), but I always come back to watch it again every several years. And the DVD is phenomenal.
And I was pleasantly surprised by the movie.
Quick tangent - was/is anyone a member of H2G2.com? I wasted a few years of my life there (before I decided to waste them here instead).

Film what film? Television series rather good, books great, towel lovely, computer game top turn, radio series perfection (I have no idea about the play or the musical though...oh sorry that hasn't been written yet).
Not just a time machine but also an organic sentient being from the planet Gallifrey, so there :-p
This brings back memories...
As does this...

I prefer Tali from Mass Effect. The fact that you don't get to see an inch of skin or even if her face has creepy mandibles makes it MORE sexy.

Tread master. I wiped out my jokes BTW. I was just trying to be funny. But damn!
