What a travesty!

If I could sue VFP, I would sue him for the equal amount of money on all the profit he has made from SE Posts, since they were false advertising and the VOOT, since according to him, they don’t exist. I would also ask for him to hand over The Real Posts of the VOOT. That amount would probably be in the billion$! If I won I would split all the money with you people who are signed up on originaltrilogy.com, equally. That would mean we could all probably get 10s of thousands of dollars! I would give The Posts to a person who will give The Thread a respectable restore and transfer to DVD or a Word File, probably to that guy who is offering to do this who restored RLM and Random Thoughts. You see, unlike VFP, we are not interested in just money with this franchise. We love it and are willing to serve justice to The Thread even if we don’t make any money. (Ironic VFP has become the very thing the moral of his Thread opposed.)

I think I figured out why most of you won’t back me up on my VFP lawsuit. It’s because I didn’t make it clear I wanted to work as a team!! That’s what I want to do. I want to work as a team with you guys. So lets conjure up a resume of VFP contradiction quotes and present them to the judge. I’m dying to buy some lakefront property but I can’t afford it and I have been trying to think of ways to make tons of money quickly but all of them have been beaten to a pulp so the only thing left is lawsuits. But I want the big bucks so I want to go for the cream of the crop. Suing VFP seems like one of the last opportunities that hasn’t been taken to make it big and it’s something I believe in! So look all over for proven contradictory quotes from VFP and lets sue this bastard! I’m looking forward to buying lakefront property! If we're successful with this than I'll take on demanding an Impeachment of CP3S.

After evaluating the special edition of your post, I was very unhappy with it. Conceptually I was not opposed to making enhancements, but I felt that you went too far in your re-imagining of key events in the sentence structure, and was very dissatisfied with the image quality. I decided to alter the post myself, and while I started out with just the intention of correcting the image problems and reverting some of the changes I was unhappy with, the project ended up growing vastly, to the point where I added additional TIE Fighters to make it feel more epic, rotoscoped new lasers, and even added a mesh to your Palpatine avatar to make it more expressive. I'm calling it "The Original Vision Post Trilogy: Revisited." This version is what I felt the special edition should have been, and I hope other fans will enjoy it. For the more oldschool fans I may also release a "purist" version with just the color correction, with the other enhancements removed.

Also, since the Imperial March is not in any official version of your post, I decided to add it via the link below, because thematically and for consistency it should be a part of the post if we're going to be mucking around with it anyway.

Timstuff, while I love your work and respect what you have done, I'm sick of waiting for the release.  It's been over 12 hours, and you're still talking about making changes!

You could wish "I'd done that." for an eternity though, something will always come up. You always add on stuff later anyway. I think I had better leave this forum for a while (to xhonzi's and some others delights), perhaps even a year, it's making me nuts. It will be done when it's done doesn't fly, we've only got so many years to live. That's why I sometimes hate the criticism some filmakers get, they actually have deadlines not indefinite time periods. Call me whatever you want, impatient, bratty, prick, whatever variant insulting synonym you can think of. I'm trying not to be a prick but it's hard to hit a moving target. It's line seeing the finish line up a head with joy, then someone moves it out further again, and again, and again.

So much for a February 18 release, or even release for The Original Vision Post's 1 month anniversary in a few days. If it's going to take forever we should at least get more trailers, those who don't want to be spoiled don't have to watch them, no one is forcing them. I am willing to donate more if we can get some of that stuff. Willing to donate quite a bit more actually. I want to support this project being that TOVPT:R is the only version of TOVPT I want to read now. It looks beyond terrific.

Hey VFP!!! hope you had a fun new years, did you go out clubbing? mine was pretty chill considering i was sick and tomorrow i have to get a root canal but that's okay cuz i'll make up for lost time soon. too bad you didn't live close by otherwise you could come out for my 53rd bday in June! it should be really good times i tell you, although my new years resolution for this year was 'no more randoms' cuz they kinda got me into trouble last year... haha C3PX knows all about it he agreed it was a good resolution. haha so did anyone make any interesting new years resolutions besides the regular eat healthy, lose weight, get fit ones? i was totally going to make some more, but then i'm never the type to keep them as by march i'm totally into the actor routine and everything gets low priority.

VFP good look on the new version of The Post, i know an edit is coming up soon, you mentioned that before but i'm sure you'll do fine and when you release it then you can have a nice time partying and living it up!!!!!

The goal of this thread should be to get the original versions of The Original Vision Post Trilogy Posts 1,10, and 13 on DVD and High Def PDF. But the feeling I get from a lot of people some are nagitve towards Mr. VFP. he made these posts after all. Insted of bashing VFP and trashing the February posts like most people on this thread constanly do we need to get back to the goal of getting the original versions of The Original Vision Post Trilogy Posts 1,10, and 13 on DVD and High Def PDF. That's all of us Original Vision fans want after all the originals on dvd and high def pdf. That's the message that needs to be heard and not so much nagativity.

The Special Editions of posts 1, 10 and 13 are separate entities from the original versions.

While we all want the original versions presented in the best possible format trying to make sense of the special editions doesn't get in the way of that goal.

No version of posts 1, 10 and 13 will ever satisfy everyone but those who want the original versions deserve to be taken more seriously.

There could be many multiple versions of these posts as long as the originals are made available for future generations to read and enjoy.

I remember reading this thread back in January (yes I'm that old) and I'm pretty sure I remember the line "Lucas fired Mark Hamill but missed first time".

I can't remember the exact details but apparently the line only turned up on obscure browsers like Wyzo.

Look, if we all want the Original Posts, let's do something about it.

i'm not a rich person by any stretch of the imagination ...

think about all the money you've spent on other hobbies, or on Original Post

merchandise, or movies, or anything else.... don't you think in the few weeks

that have passed since the revised Original Posts that came out, WE as a community have

invested a ton of money on video equipment, computers, media, etc that

could have been pooled to purchase the thread by now? don't you feel someone

could have obtained the thread even before the revised Original Posts came out? i know there

was mention a few times of people with the thread, but something always happened,

and they disappeared? is that true.....     don't you think that's going to happen

to me also? ......

i've never spent a lot of money on anything in the past, and the cost of this

thread is less than most brand new computers, and you must have bought a

computer at some point in time?

also, the same applies for the money for the thread, don't you think that

by now, with all the people here, that we could have found or figured out

a way to get the thread for free, or for a reduced cost? well, that's

exactly what is happening, all the dealers i've talked to are using their

contacts to see if they can work out deals.... i've talked about a disconnect

between sellers/dealers, and the fans that are on this board, we need

to leverage that to our advantage.... its NOT ABOUT MONEY, i've gone

to several places, with the MONEY READY TO DO IT, and they would

not touch it, so its not just about money, you have to work your contacts,

talk to people, get involved ... i'm constantly asking for help here, and guess

what, i don't expect everyone to contribute, but every little bit of encouragement

helps , and you never know where the big break will come from...

once again, DONT TAKE THINGS SO PERSONALLY, we wouldn't be having this

discussion if someone had taken the steps that were being advocated right

here on this board...............   if a casual person can come to this board, and

within 2 days obtain 1) rare Original Post trailer 2) complete Second Original Post 12 point font

3) Third Original Post 16 point font 4) possible complete post of Original Post,

was does that tell anyone from the outside?( that looks at the efforts of the people here..)

we need to band together, and support each other about what the goals of this

board are ...

not to continue to constantly gripe / complain and be bitter about

1) the past REvised posts

2) the VOUT dvd

3) the lack of a good typeface

4) VFP, VFPfilm, VFParts and any activities from them.
