Well, you escape PROBATION by either waiting long enough, or making me laugh.
"Pobation" made me laugh, so...
FULL PARDON!!!
Do you know guys I'm the only one who can post off the rules here ?
I wished Frink kept a least my name in the "Double Secret Probation" punishment... For rememberance.
Here's what it is to insist with booby pictures !... Bouhouhooouuu !!! Shame on me !

Sorry CP3S, but I don't know post-impression from my elbow.
Thread subject changed to PAINTINGS!!!
Dude! You totally just turned my topic from cool and specific to extremely lame and general. Screw you Fink! Screw! You!
I am now going to post a little bit of non post-impressionist boobage just to spite you, Fink! HAHA!

Damn !:
Ah, I like Gauguin's sense of humor (or at least, what I perceive to be humor).
See how much prettier the post-impressionist stuff is, Fink? Now you are going to watch as this thread falls from real art to paintings of smurfs and all sorts of stupid crap, and it is going to be all your fault. All. Your. Fault.

That's what I'm looking for.
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

It was when I thought the thread was going to be about Post Impressionism (it's a picture of someone doing an impression of Postman Pat) :
Ok...
PROBATION!!!
(for once your joke fell a bit flat, IMO, and the post had no connection to paintings)

Battle of the brushes.
I'm not really a fan of Post Impressionism. Seurat is one of the few artists I find interesting, but it's really just the pointillism, not the pieces themselves. Below is probably his most famous work, as well as one of the more famous pieces of Post Impressionist art.
Arnold Bocklin

Arrrrrggggggggg!
I must have been a salty sailor in a past life, because I love old paintings of ships.
