It cuts to a shot of the delgates running out of the room. Then they gather on the street and wonder what's on fire, when Lee returns and yells his whooping yell. They all run over to him and escort him back inside.

So basically they used the shot of them running outside for the fire wagon and changed the motive so that they're running to meet Lee instead.
