I however have to take issue with a couple of the things you side.   I believe "Cool Considerate Men" should be in, and should never have been cut.   Think out it,  in a movie about American freedom, we are going to cut a song because the President doesn't like it???  Also another thing to remember the song was part of the original Broadway Musical.   When a Broadway Music or play is made into a movie, I think the movie should be as close to the stage version as possible.   One of the things I love about this movie is the use of so much of the cast from Broadway version.    That said,  I wish they would have released both the director's cut, and the original theatrical release on the DVD.   I didn't like that they cut some of the musical cues.    In the theatrical cut, there are times when the music plays while people are talking for dramatical purposes.  They were removed in the director's cut and there is just silence now and someone like me who had watched the original for so many years it is very noticeable and feels like something is missing.   But I am glad to finally be able to see it in widescreen.  It makes a big difference in the numbers like "The Egg" and "Molasses to Rum To Slaves" .

You questioned why the number with Martha Jefferson.  I betting why she added was to give another role for a female in the Musical.   If you take her out, the only female in the whole thing is Mrs. Adams.

If this ever comes to Blu-ray,  I hope they release the theatrical cut, directors cut, and I believe when it was released to laser disc there was another cut with even more scenes added,  I'd like to see that version on the blu-ray as well.   I think they added in a longer version of "Piddle, Twiddle and Resolve." which adds back in lines cut from the original Broadway Musical "   Unfortunately, that will probably never happen.  They will probably just release the director's cut.

btw, you also forgot to mention that William Daniels was in St. Elsewhere, no  offense.
