It's the aloofness that comes with familiarity. Those of us that have been here longer know each other's attitudes and senses of humor, so it's easier for us to tell when someone is being purposely insulting and when it's just an obtuse attempt at levity. Thicken up your skin and try to find patterns in people's posts over time rather than judging individual comments.

I know what you're saying Ziz, but I side with BmB on this one. Solo's comment was way over the line, regardless of how long any of us have been here. Even though I knew he was just making a joke, I still found it very insulting. However...
