I watched Conan's last Tonight Show. The few moments at the end, where he asked his fans, particularly the younger ones. not to be cynical - class all the way. It's a message they needed to hear, and they needed to hear it from him. Well done, Conan.
I'll watch when Leno gets the show back, but I bet The Tonight Show doesn't get its respect, following, & ratings back until someone else finally takes over after Leno retires. I think people are worn out from all this ugliness and Leno represents part of that ugliness. Good or bad, win or lose, innocent or not - Leno is part of the negative & hateful drama of the past month. Even as a fan, I feel a sense of emotional fatigue from all of this and have no desire to see any of them for a while.
