One of the more decent episodes this season. Overall, though, IMHO, CSI has been lacking the last couple of seasons. Too much focus on their personal lives and less on the crime scene stuff itself and what crimes they have been focusing on have just been so "out there" that they get a little difficult to stomach. The first two seasons of CSI were great. To be honest, CSI Miami has surpassed CSI in terms of plot and acting. And I can't wait for CSI: New York which will be starring Gary Sinise.

Damn right he is. I love how Bruckheimer has cast really quality actors as the team leaders for his CSI shows. William Petersen in the original, David Caruso in Miami, and Sinise in NY. All of them add such an air of credibility.

caruso is awesome, too bad he never got the big hollywood break. but maybe he is cut more for this type of acting, but he is awesome!

People always dissed him for leaving NYPD Blue, but I thought he was a great actor who just never got a break. I did like Kiss of Death with him and Cage. And Caruso was the only good thing about Proof of Life.

I occasionally watch CSI, but I prefer Law and Order and Crossing Jordan. I love Sinise though, and I haven't seen him in a while so I'm definitely gonna catch New York.

Law and Order is running stronger than ever! It also has 2 spinoffs L&O: SVU (Special Victims Units) that deals with hyper sensitive crimes like rape and missing children, and L&O : Criminal Intent which looks at crime from a psyc/profile point of view. All three are quite good with SVU being the most dramatic and the original as the most topical. CI is entertaining but kind of cartoony with too many criminal mastermind storylines (ala silence of the lambs).

Crossing Jordan is about Boston's city morgue forensics investigators. The plots are okay but it's not a police procedural like CSI, it's really more of a character drama and how their work affects them and their developing relationships. Its a fun show with nice comedic touches among the more serious and darker episodes.

What shows do you prefer? All the chee-tos are getting me thirsty, can I have some pop Gundarkhunter?

I've been disappointed by CSI lately but have been loving CSI: Miami as I've said. I also like Crossing Jordan, but I never catch Law & Order. I'm just happy that Jordan is finally back this season after Jill Hennessy's maternity leave.

Yeah, I'm glad Jordan is back too, but I hope they address the cliffhanger ending from last season soon though.

I could buy the SE Trilogy. Come on people, would you rather have nothing?
Don't think I'm biased toward SE, I not. I love the ORIGINAL trilogy. I don't like what Lucas did to "improve" SW but I can put up with it. The changes aren't horrible, just different.

Yep. I've waited this long. I can keep waiting and using my money on other DVDs and not on three movies I would never watch. I don't watch my SE VHS now, why would I watch it just because it's on DVD. I wouldn't. I'll stick to my OT VHS.
