Maybe my parents did buy the tickets, but they did it for me! They bought the toys for me! And I I'm the one that bought the vhs copies of the originals,the books and other merchandise. So if it weren't for me Lucas would not have my or my parent's money. And how do you know that some on the 50,000 weren't old enough to buy their tickets?

Statistically speaking, most first generation Star Wars fans were kids when the movies came out the first time, so it's a good bet that most of the 56,000 people who signed your petition didn't make George Lucas rich, their parents did.

Besides, you ignor the fact that the vast majority of fans will buy the DVDs no matter what. They are the ones that will make Lucas richer, so he doesn't owe you anything.

Furthermore, by bashing the PT you just prove you are a jealous, petty little fanboy who hates everything Lucas has done since he "ruined" Star Wars for you by *gasp* putting in new scenes and better effects then that of the original release. So why the Hell should he value your opinion in the first place, when you prove that anything new he does you are going to hate? If I were Lucas I'd tell you to fuck off and go complain to all the other creators that have dared put out extended edition DVDs out without offering you the original versions.

It Lucas' movies, not yours. If he wants to release an all Jar Jar all the time version of the OT with a pictograph of himself flipping you the bird it's his decision.

Don't like it, don't buy it. If enough fanboys would actually stick to their guns and not buy the SEs....it still wouldn't make a damn bit of difference because the fanboys out outnumbered by the fans.
